Do you have excessive underarm sweating? Do you sweat even in cool climates? Do you carry any extra change of clothes with you most of the time? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, you may have a medical condition called Axillary Hyperhidrosis or excessive underarm sweating.

Millions of people throughout the world face an isolating, embarrassing, and damaging struggle every day from excessive sweating. Hyperhidrosis takes a toll on a person’s life but sufferers and their families don’t need to suffer in silence any more.

BOTOX (Botulinum Toxin type A) is a medication that is injected subdermally into the skin to treat hyperhidrosis. BOTOX Cosmetic acts by blocking neurotransmitters that stimulate sweat production. It is injected at 15-20 sites in the underarm.

What is BOTOX Cosmetic?

  • On average 50 units of BOTOX Cosmetic is used per axilla.

When will I start to see results?

  • You should start to see improvement of underarm sweating within a few days and will continue to improve for up to a week.
